Eco-Cem®, manufactured by CoveringsETC––the makers of Bio-Luminum™ and Bio-Glass®, is a natural, eco-friendly, interior and exterior building surface material made from 20% wood pulp and 80% cement (50% of which is made with fly ash that is the result of the combustion of coal).

Eco-Cem showcases a contemporary look, yet maintains the warm feeling of wood. It has a honed, satin finish and is available in 8 colors ranging from neutral grays to colorful greens and golds. This material is mold, mildew, fire and freeze resistant making it extremely versatile and may be installed as flooring, interior and exterior cladding, furniture or worktops. It can be used for commercial, residential and industrial applications.

Eco-Cem’s environmental manufacturing practices comply with ISO 14021. The material has been accepted into the Material ConneXion Library and may help contribute toward LEED® credits (MR4.1 & MR4.2) with U.S. Green Building Council project certification.
